I painted European mountain ash (aka rowan, Sorbus aucuparia) ringspot virus for the May illustration of the BSPP plant pathogens calendar.

The painting shows a pinnate compound rowan leaf. The leaf is divided pinnately into leaflets, with seven pairs of leaflets arranged opposite to each other and one terminal' leaflet at the end. The leaflets have a yellow ringspot virus pattern, with both mottling and ringspots present.
