Maize Ear Rot

Ink painting/drawing of maize ear rot, caused by Gibberella zea (Fusarium graminearum).
The painting shows a corn cob, with a brown opened husk, and an exposed cob. The kernels on the cob are yellow near the base. Near the tip, infection has taken hold, with white and pink cottony mould surrounding the kernels. The infected kernels are a tan colour.
