A tortoise shell coloured short-haired cat, named Tia, sitting on a windowsill. The cat can be seen reflected in the window. The room and curtains are ochre , and trees and a lamp-post can be seen through the window.

The reference photo had a really interesting limited range of colours. I was able to complete the painting using five paints:
